How to fix my render?!

So in my settings i have it in Tiny render but whenever i play on my screen its showing the whole map and its making my fps low any suggestions on how to fix this?
I would suggest going into your .minecraft, then double clicking on options.txt. You'll see a bunch of different settings, and the sixth one down that says "renderDistance" is obviously the one you're looking for. If the value (what's at the right of the colon) is not already at 2, change it to that for it's the value for the tiny render distance. If you have any questions, just reply to this ^-^

I tried that already few hours ago still didn't fix it ty for suggesting this tho ^.^
edit: when i actually checked it it was render 5 so i changed it but when i loaded MC and went to the server i still see so much things
