Cancer, makes me depressed. by Sphrynax July 13, 2014 at 1:07 AM UTC

Screw cancer, some of us want to buy a new phone, a new car, a new computer and whatever it maybe. But many animals and people fall under cancer, all they want is to win the battle. My leopard gecko happened to be one of the animals, and he did not win. All I'm saying is that us, people should be aware of such of these things. I could not help, he was still a baby, his anti-bodies were too weak to fight back. Even my snake is depressed, every sunday, I used to bring them out together and play with each other. Now my snake is confused and wonders, where my leopard gecko is.

RIP.

Andrew Jr.

Let's say you have toast for breakfast, but you don't want toast, well, you should be happy at least you get food, look at all the homeless, do you think they have food?
When you feel as if you're in pain, just because you didn't get the latest soccer boots, imagine all the people fighting cancer, they're in terrible pain, and they only want one thing. To win. I hope this makes you aware that, when you really want a video game, and you can't get it, think about all the people battling cancer.

I watched my friend die, with my very own eyes, not being able to help, helpless. I stayed up, not sleeping at all, just watching the tiny gecko arch its back in pain every few minutes. After a couple minutes, into the morning, 8:32 AM, Andrew silvano Jr. had exited my world.

Together, we can stop cancer.

Thank you.

My friend died from it. He used to want all the video games, and didn't really care. He ate fast food and pop for the majority of his life. When he was diagnosed, his body was too weak. #WeNeedTheCure

Y'know i believe they have a cure already. It cures 9 different cancers;i believe leukemia is one of them.

My teacher, who is Jamaican. Told my class that a cure was made (I do not know whether this is true or not. It remains to be seen.) It was discovered in a plant native to the Carribean recently. Forgot its name.

Pretty soon or whenever, most likely 5-30 years, the cure will be FDA approved and made public. At least, i hope.

This is no joke, i heard this from my teacher in June. I am not trying to joke around or troll. This is no laughing matter.

There isn't necesarily a specific "cure" for cancer, as it is a disease that is basically a lump of your cells that have mutated, every cancer is different depending on where it originated, and if there were a cure announced, it would be all over the news. But, this isn't the thread to get technical, and I apologize for your loss.

I believe what she's referring to is Marajuana... It is claimed that this drug can have calming and soothing effects, aswell as curing cancer, but it is still very much uncertain.

@OP, I apologise for your loss, nothing should ever have to die in the hands of such a monstrous killer. It's really heart breaking.

I do however have two things on my minds regarding the subject that, quite frankly, really p!ss3s me off.

-> Large coorporations are hiding the cure to cancer, just to make money on "treatments". As much as I'd hate to say this could be true: it could be true. I can see exactly why after some minimal research.

-> But secondly I think that the cure for cancer is not found yet. No one could be so inhumane and not release such a precious cure.
However the cure for cancer could be locked away in the wonderous, intelligent brain of someone... Someone who can't afford an education. Now that upsets me.

I am sorry for your loss. Pets are apart of the family, and I understand how much it hurts to lose a pet to this disasteous disease known as Cancer. Sorry for your loss. :( R.I.P

I might start a fundraiser to cure Cancer, especially since my best friend's mom has it, stage four. :(

We will find the cure, one way or another.

Cezbla July 13, 2014 at 10:07 AM UTC

Cancer is actually  a stage says doctors it may be able to be stopped later on but this is a epidemic that money can't help we need to work and put time into it, I feel as if cancer is fucked up but we can't hope we have to take action, I agree with you <3

Iron July 13, 2014 at 10:07 AM UTC

That is so sad D: I really hope Andrew Jr. finds a good resting place. Cancer is a terrible thing, I myself was diagnosed with it when I was 4.

Now that I hear your guys stories, my story doesn't matter, you've lost real family and friends, I've lost a pet. I'm sorry, I've been so stupid, complaining just because a pet died. You don't know how sorry I am for you guys, I watched my pet die in terrible pain, I stayed up, not sleeping at all, jus watching the tiny gecko arch its back in pain every few minutes. I cannot imagine what it would be like, watching a friend or family dissapear from your life.

Together, we can stop cancer.

Sphrynax July 13, 2014 at 12:07 PM UTC

Name? XD
raving, that isn't funny, you don't know wha its like, losing a part of life, especially when you're helpless, watching it die in pain, when you can't do anything to help.

it's very sad.

Pets are still apart of family, and they are our friends. Humans are just another species, it doesn't matter if it's an animal friend or a human friend, still our friends.

One day, we will cure Cancer.

Matic0B July 13, 2014 at 12:07 PM UTC

Hopefully someone finds a cure. Im sorry for your gecko. Now I dont know anyone with cancer, but I have experienced the loss of someone and its not plesant.

All this support is starting to make me feel better, although I am still pissed at the fact that people don't care about this disaster.

Dawudis July 13, 2014 at 1:07 PM UTC

I have to agree, my grandfather died from cancer, and my entire family was crying for 2 days. I try to forget about technology and things that are not going to benefit us in our lives.
And I am so sorry about you Andrew, I hope he will go to a better place.

I don't care if cancer has a cure, what I care about is, that people should be aware of these things, they act as if they don't care, but when a loved one is harmed by cancer, they start acting all sad. People need to be more aware of things in this world, let's say you have toast for breakfast, but you don't want toast, well, you should be happy at least you get food, look at all the homeless, do you think they have food?

Very sorry for your loss. I lost my grandfather, my uncle has pancreatic cancer, my grandmother survived breast cancer, and my great grandmother is just about to die from cancer. The doctor said I have a good chance of getting cancer myself. Anyways, sorry for your loss ;-;.

goldenwalrus909 July 15, 2014 at 4:07 AM UTC
