I rather not see this.

If someone is harrasing you and such you should deal with it by reporting the player not running away and hiding. The player will continue on other accounts or go after other players if a person ignores them. If the player is banned he won't be able to continue doing the same thing.

Don't run away from the problem. DEAL with the problem (by reporting).

Option 1: Turn down your opacity.
Option 2: File an online report and leave the game.
Option 3: Use /report and leave the game.

i want to be able to report them and ignore them.
people can be potentially scarred for life by things that others say to them online. people have said some things to me on avicus i wish i could forget, that actually fucked me up for a while. i could've used the ignore then.

sometimes it's 100% necessary to "run away".

Then I don't think they should be on the internet. If someone really says something you dont want to see, turn chat off or switch servers.

okay, seriously? people have events in their life that are absolutely horrifying and when you say something that brings it up again, it can set off a trigger and really fuck you up for a bit. saying 'scarred for life' may have been a bit much, but it has happened before. i'm just saying that some people need to watch what they say instead of telling the victims to get off the internet. it's pretty simple, just don't be an asshat to people. i'm not gonna switch servers, avicus is unique and has a community i've gotten to know.
if you haven't been in this experience, you shouldn't be talking. you haven't seen or felt what people can do online if they find what hurts you most.

I ment switch servers on avicus. Go off nebula01 and go on 02. If they follow you to say crap to you it could count as harrasment.

I have been. Guess what I did. I ignored the issue by simply switching servers.

You can't stop trolls. There will always be someone out there. What you can do is avoid them. In minecraft this is simple. Just go on a different server.

If you can't take the heat stay out of the fire. Some people don't belong on the internet and if someone is a b**ch to you, just go off and come back later. He probably won't be online or wouldn't notice you being online.

first off, im sorry that happened to you

but shouldnt we be teaching people to not be dicks instead of teaching people to bail out when people are being dicks to them

The people being d**ks are being taught what they are doing isn't right by punishing them.

Phobiaxx October 4, 2014 at 4:10 PM UTC

As long as you report instantly and descriptively... the report most probably will be answered... we have a ton of staff ^-^
Just keep in mind:
It'll be better to:
./report ragingp1 Harassing players.
than
./report ragingp1 swear
or
./report ragingp1 mean

true. as long as they're being punished and learning, and in the mean time people can report and leave. got it now, thanks

There was already a Suggestion like that...
I only remember that it can get very annoying if some players ignore 1 person like bullying... so -1
(PS: Wrong account, I know....)
(PSS: You never will know who I am! >:D)
(PSSS: If someone tells them who I am, I ignore you, even without the command)
