Houston, I've got a problem. by GamblerTheGreat September 2, 2014 at 10:09 PM UTC

I was excited for the 1.8 update to come out, then I had some troubles trying to update it. Magic Launcher says your Minecraft should update itself. Nope. Anyone got some advice for me? Thanks :D

Use the normal Minecraft launcher instead, the magic launcher is messy, wait till it gets updated..

@ AwarriorVenom: I know the quote, but since its only me that has this problem I thought I would just make it singular.

I had bad experiences with the magic launcher so I wouldn't recommend it, just use the normal launcher.

erm, have you tried downloading 1.7.9 off the regular launcher and then going on magic launcher? I remember when I used it in 1.6.4 and a bit higher I had to always download it first from the regular launcher to get the 1.6.5.jar update
