So I will archive this post when I get the answer. I was recording walls for the prep time but when the walls drop the player I was fighting combat logged so am I allowed to crop the footage to that point?

you should be able to crop but I would leave a 5 second gap before he combat logged

yeah thats fine.. they don't need to see the unnecessary bits.
If you'd like, it's totally fine to post the full video on a report, and you could tell us to skip to which part (:
EX) Skip to 0:45 for the Combat Log. (;
